Thoughts from the owner of Blue Wave Plumbing

As a home owner I like to take pride in my house. I hire polite and knowledgeable trades people (that have a good standing with the BBB) when I need them and I expect to get treated fairly. I try to keep on top of all the ongoing maintenance as well as keep on top of the new trends. When I get quotes for work that I need done I get a few of them and I don’t necessarily go with the most or least expensive quote. Customer service is number one to me and I like the feeling that I am being looked after. Once the job that I am getting done is finished and I am happy with the work I generally keep doing business with that company if needed. This is how I run my business as I know what it is like being in a home owner's shoes. There are lots of companies out there and I would like to thank the customers that have used my company as I know that you have choices and for our potential customers out there I encourage you to use our company as you won’t be disappointed. As a home owner the expectations I have in my own home, we as a company will carry out in our customer's homes.

What to check for in rainy season

Our rainy season is upon us and with that in mind listed below are things that you should check and make sure are done:

·         Look to see that all of the earth that is against your home is graded away from your  home and not graded towards it

·         Make sure that all of your down spouts are down and pointed away from your home

·         Check to see that your eavestroughs are free of debris

·         If you have a sump pump is it working and do you have a spare one on hand

·         Are there any cracks in your foundation walls

·         Windows should be sealed with an appropriate sealant 

·         Is the siding on your home in good shape and securely attached

We have shop vacuums, swifter’s and other cleaning products in our vans to make sure that we are neat and tidy while and after we do your job. When you call us it is the owner of the company that answers the phone. We have a one year warranty on all parts that we provide and labor. We are an active member of the BBB. Our pricing is straight forward with no hidden surprises. We treat every customer like they are our only customer. We are upfront with the work that needs to be done to your house and with that in mind we will not try to upsell you on things that you may not want or need. If you are an existing customer and need some advice we are here to give it to you. If we can problem shoot an issue over the phone to get you up and running we will.
